The Beidou system and GPS positioning methods and principles are in the same line. GPS was designed in the 1970s and formed in the 1990s, while the Beidou system (the official Beidou system is the second generation of Beidou) was launched in 2004, which is actually an imitation of GPS. So it can be said that Beidou and GPS are basically the same, and they both provide location/time information for users: the user holds a navigator and analyzes the user's location by receiving GPS/Beidou satellite signals. By the way, the second generation of Beidou is passive positioning, that is, the knowledge navigator receives satellite signals and does not transmit signals to satellites, so there is no SMS function. In the specific implementation of this function, the two systems are different in many aspects, such as the signal frequency points, satellite constellations, coordinate systems, etc. mentioned by other people. However, since the two systems are both for the purpose of providing user positions, the core difference should be the difference in positioning accuracy between the two systems, and other differences, some of which are basically irrelevant (such as using different time/ The spatial coordinate system is essentially just a convention), and some are mainly reflected in the impact on positioning accuracy.
